Provide co-ordination and operational support for the Learning and Development and Talent Development organisations in order to effectively deliver learning activities to meet key business requirements. Act as the learning administrator for the Siemens PLM Learning Management System, liaise with trainers and business partners/program managers to ensure successful delivery, ensure effective class evaluation is undertaken and produce reports. Provide administration for teams budget, purchase orders and cross charging.

Handle training enquiries and consolidate training demand. Communicates and markets L&D opportunities, manages the L&D inbox and monthly newsletter production. Collaborates and leads learning co-ordination practice leadership for the community of Zone and Country co-ordinators. Contribute to the delivery of Global learning & development initiatives originating from agreed learning & development priorities and strategy. Works under self management, managing tasks of moderate to complex scope.

Areas of Responsibility

Training Co-ordination:

* Manage the Global Learning & Development inbox and act as the first point of contact for learning and development queries.
* Work with L&D Business Partners and Learning Program Managers to consolidate global training delivery plans against GSM&S strategies and learning needs.
* Consolidate training demand management pipeline and hand over validated requests to appropriate L&D Business Partner or Learning Program Manager
* Collaborate with local training co-ordinators to schedule logistics for classroom delivery
* Manage the administration of global programs and release enablement within the Siemens PL Learning Management System, co-ordinating registration,
prework, delivery ensuring trainers have all information and materials required to deliver effective enablement
* Gather feedback evaluations from courses, track trends and provide summaries to trainers, program managers and business partners

Global Learning & Development Operational Support:

* Undertake day to day administration and tracking for the Global L&D Budget including PO expenditure
* Ensure monthly training delivery and cross charging reconciliation is undertaken to maintain L&D cash flow against expectations, ensuring charges cover all costs
* Support the PO request process to raise purchase orders to meet L&D requirements
* Market and communicate learning activities through approved communication channels, maintain the internal web presence of L&D in both online sites and Learning Management System.
* Edit and publish regular L&D Newsletter
* Produce L&D reports to required cadence for use by L&D and stakeholder groups
* Lead and collaborate with Zone and Country co-ordinators on good practice


- Essential; CIPD Level 3: Certificate or Diploma in Learning & Development
- Ability to understand how courseware should be produced whilst having a good grasp of adult learning principles and learning trends through both formal and informal learning approaches
- Demonstrates a good professional know-how of core, Learning & Development practices and standards,
applying these within own Learning & Development role consistently and to required quality standards
- Has a good knowledge of Learning Management Systems
- Communicates effectively with business partners by using appropriate language and vocabulary according to the purpose and context
- Develops a structured presentation including clear objectives, agenda, storyline and summary of key messages and presents it
to small groups, also virtually
