A Global Risk Oversight and Governance Manager is required by a global investment bank to ensure the Bank establishes and maintains a clear risk oversight and governance structure within the Wealth Management business. This includes developing and maintaining a risk framework across the division, managing a clear governance structure, ensuring appropriate escalation, proactively managing audits and compliance reviews and the effective cascade of policies to the regions.

The role covers a number of streams

- Establishment and management of the Global Products & Solutions (GPS) risk framework and governance - Refreshing the risk framework for GPS in collaboration with the Divisional Control Office (DCO) and operational risk to ensure we have a clear, tangible articulation of the risks we run including ownership, controls, key indicator reporting, escalation and governance
- Establishing and running a governance structure to ensure appropriate oversight and escalation of risks

- Owning key global risk topics and initiatives and ensuring regional delivery through other COO and GPS colleagues - Defining and managing GPS response to key risk topics including Conflicts of Interest, new policy implementation etc.
- Advising MD stakeholders on key risks in GPS

- Leading on GPS relationships with control functions including audit, compliance and DCO - Managing interface with control functions for audits and reviews
- Monitoring and tracking delivery against these in conjunction with DCO

You will be an experienced Risk professional (Operational or Conduct Risk preferred) from either the asset / wealth management or retail banking arena. You will have a proven track record of successful risk oversight and governance in a complex environment and possess exceptional stakeholder management skills and experience.
