Reporting to the Shift Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of all product components and materials are in-line with product specifications.

Key accountabilities will include:

* Achieve departmental and efficiency targets
* Work as part of a team with responsibility for ensuring production volumes are achieved effectively and to the highest quality standard, escalating issues at the earliest opportunity to all relevant parties, to minimise any potential impact on production
* Rectify minor faults and escalate major problems to the Shift Manager
* Conduct start-up checks for each relevant line, in accordance with SOP's
* Ensure SIC and Quality information is accurate, complete and timely
* Adhere to standard operating procedures and take a proactive approach to health and safety procedures
* Being fully conversant in plant equipment and systems
* Accurate completion of records and documents
* Maintain hygienic status of the production environment and general housekeeping of the working area

Previous production and machine operating experience is preferred, however the successful candidates will be fully trained.

These roles are based on a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern 6 am- 6 pm / 6 pm-6 am, with weekend and Bank Holiday working.
The starting salary for this role is £18,360 rising with full training to £26,000 as a grade 4 operator.
