SUMMARY

We have a fantastic opportunity available to for a well-presented and experienced Manager to work for a well-known charity as a Charity Shop Manager.
The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with passion for the role and willingness to make a difference.

Salary GBP9,600 - GBP11,400 per annum pro rata
The core duties of the role are -

??Maximise sales targets of the charity shop though effective merchandising
??Deliver the highest standard of courteousness and service to customers
??Ensure the staff and volunteers are operating in line with the charity policies
??Reconcile the bank takings daily, control petty cash and compile weekly returns
??Ensure health and safety policies are followed by all staff and volunteers
??Organise and manage all donations and price them accordingly
??Ensure trading hours and security arrangements are adhered to
??Actively promote the charity, reflecting the charities vision and values
??Attend mandatory training and relevant training as identified by the charity
??Participate in the appraisal process annually
??Undertake any other duties relating to the post
??The job description is subject to annual review and service requirement change in negotiation
??Recruit and supervise volunteers
??Organise volunteer roster
??Train volunteers accordingly

As the shop manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and improving profit through effective management and motivation of the team, always exceeding customer expectations by providing the best service and standards.

The successful candidate for this position will possess current management experience in a retail positon, be highly commercially aware with excellent attention to detail and can communicate on all levels with the ability to analyse financial reports.
