We are looking for an experienced candidate who is degree educated with the IMC to support the New Capital business development team through building relationships, promoting products and services to both new and existing clients, providing client support, and delivering sales and marketing messages.

Supporting the Client Services Director with managing the team, acting as first point of contact.

Maintaining and servicing the relationships of the New Capital clients in the relevant Region

Support the New Capital Business Development Team in cross selling in the Region

Participating in outbound sales calls, as requested by the New Capital Business Development Team

Arranging and attending meeting as requested

Managing the follow up as requested

Contribute ideas on the marketing content and branding, and identifying the need for additional literature and content

Maintain knowledge base of the Asset Management funds and disseminating information to the Asset Management New Capital Business Development Team, external clients, and Client Relationship Officers

Delivery of sales and marketing messages to a wide range of intermediaries

Provide client support through provision of information and reporting, involvement in marketing activities to include presentations, events etc

Maintenance of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, dealing with client queries and managing the on board process

Management of client issues and investigating opportunities to enhance client service

Processing new sales leads and supporting the New Capital Business Development Team in finding new business opportunities

Managing the correspondence between the sales team and their clients

Review of sales management information (competitor analysis, industry press etc) needed to develop strategies, to increase sales

Providing data and reports to help the sales team

May require travel from time to time as is appropriate to maintain New Capital relationships, or for events or roadshows

To adhere to, and maintain knowledge of, all applicable legislation, including relevant parts of the FCA Handbook

Support and assist the Client Services Director on a day-to-day basis working on a number of different projects

First point of contact for the day to day queries of the team

Working with team to ensure deadlines are met for internal and external clients, and priorities identified

Working with team to ensure the quality of service provided is in line with Company standards

Maintaining internal processes, highlighting potential improvements wherever possible

Produce reports, analyses and support implementation processes

Other duties and project work, as assigned

To apply you must have similar experience in a role for an Asset Manager, having focussed on the UK market

Demonstrable experience of dealing with institutional and intermediary clients

Demonstrable understanding of the UCITS fund market

Direct experience of dealing with global distribution platforms, with experience focussing on the UK platforms

Good customer care skills, with a professional and positive approach to client service

A second language is a plus, good level of Excel and Powerpoint, ability to use Bloomberg and Morningstar desirable
