We are looking for an experienced, personable professional, for a key role in a Charity’s Commercial Division.

We are seeking someone who is looking for great job satisfaction and who can share company values and their mission, while acting as a fantastic ambassador and representative.
In this role you will be introducing the company’s unique commercial services to major retailers, brand holders and manufacturers across the UK and some in Europe.

With over 25 years of success working with leading high street names. Our small but effective Corporate Services Team, have developed mutually beneficial partnerships, offering unique services to these clients, in a B2B activity.

• Substantial experience in a B2B Customer relations role a Department Manager or similar team management role. Alternatively you will have been in a CSR leadership role.
• A keen understanding of the retail industry and its needs.
• Effective personal communication skills including experience of networking and an ability to build and maintain relationships.
• Able to demonstrate personal skills in presenting and able to mentor team to deliver clear communication with companies.
• Able to work with other key departments in the charity, in an open and collaborative style.
• Excellent IT skills are required with experience of using Access databases with an ability to analyse data and produce graphs/reports from the data held.
• We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-driven person who can use their initiative and use opportunities to our benefit to fit with our entrepreneurial style.
• You will need to be well organised, with an ability to plan and organise yourself and others in the department and follow systems and processes.
• You need to have had previous line management experience and able to support and develop your team in order to build great relationships.
• Attention to detail and ability to understand partnership agreements is required.
• Ability to feedback to corporate partners the outcomes arising from their support.

Desirable Requirements:

• Knowledge of corporate environmental issues would be useful.
• Prior experience of working for a not for profit organisation.
• Existing retail network of contacts, especially in fashion and homewares.
• Able to attend and present at events where you are needed, to represent our organisation.
• Understanding of national logistics (carrier delivery/dispatch) would be advantageous.
• Ability to create and or use service agreements with partners
