Payroll Manager

Birmingham, Temporary – Contract, full time (Mon-Fri), 37.5hrs, £40,000

An exciting job opportunity has arisen for a Payroll Manager to join a busy team in central Birmingham. My Client is looking to recruit an immediately available, experienced Payroll Manager.

Your job responsibilities as the Payroll Manager will include the following:

• Lead the Payroll team, driving productivity and building on the experience of each team member helping them to develop both personally and professionally.
• Managing process of large volume payroll
• Manage high volumes in a fact paced environment
• Management of the staff within the payroll function to ensure the timely, accurate and confidential processing and reporting of the company payroll
• Handling payroll queries
• Submission statutory payroll filing, including P11Ds
• Responsible for the accurate processing of payroll
• Managing the payroll team to ensure high levels of service are provided
• Being pro-active in identifying changes to payroll, anticipating and managing implications and impact of any changes

Working hours are Monday to Friday (37.5hrs)
