Working within a billion-pound turnover business, this company is a global manufacturer of specialised security products / components. As a result of continual expansion, they now have a requirement for a Business Development Manager (Hospitality sector) based in the North of England but covering the Midlands & Northern England. You will ideally have experience of specification sales within the Hospitality sector.

Commutable from: Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Sheffield, Stoke, Stafford, Blackpool, Preston, York, Hull, Scunthorpe, Lincoln, Derby, Nottingham, Chester, Lancaster

Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum + £5,000 per annum Car Allowance + Bonus (up to 40%) + Contributory Pension + BUPA + 25 days holiday

Suitable for: Sales Manager, BDM, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager, National Sales Manager

The Role

The main purpose of this role is identifying and developing new business opportunities with existing and potential customers in the Hospitality sector to deliver business growth and increased market share. You will be promoting the corporate brand, product range and end user solutions to create demand for new business. You will also partner with the sales team across the organisation to leverage product cross-sales opportunities

The Person

You will have strong commercial sales experience with demonstrable track record in the Hospitality sector of sales and profit growth. With good architectural hardware product knowledge, you will have a good knowledge / experience of contractors and specifiers and will be a strong negotiator with good organizational skills and the ability to work under-pressure to tight deadlines.
