An award winning Stafford based engineering consultancy is seeking a Mechanical Building Services Engineer to join its expanding team on a permanent basis. The employer is willing to offer on going training to candidates who can demonstrate a pro-active attitude to learning. The company specialises in the design and management of mechanical and electrical service installations for a wide range of buildings which include heritage sites, museums and galleries, offices and shops, educational institutions, factories, leisure and research facilities, as well as residential properties and complexes. They take pride in having built up a reputation within the local community for their sensitive approach to design and meticulous attention to detail.

The Role Reporting to the Mechanical Director, you will be working closely with Senior Engineers and will contribute to on-going design projects from start to finish.

As the Mechanical Building Services Engineer your duties will be to:

- Conduct design calculations;
- Draft mechanical drawings;
- Survey customer sites;
- Support design progression;
- Manage live projects from start to finish.

The Candidate To be a successful Mechanical Building Services Engineer you will have the following skills and experience:

- Self-motivated, innovative and creative, with the ability to communicate at various levels;
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to multi-task, prioritise work, work on your own initiative as well as part of a team;
- Experience using design software (Revit and AutoCAD preferred but not essential);
- Some appropriate design qualifications, or part way through training.
