Support Worker - Learning Disability School - Hereford
We are looking for the most compassionate and caring Support Workers to join our team, providing support to children and young adults in a learning disability school setting. Our successful candidates will hold a NVQ3 in Children's and Young People's Workforce.The Position:You will be working with clients on a 1-to-1 basis, and thus must be a confident lone worker, however also happy to participate in wider MDT discussions. As a naturally compassionate individual, you will be dedicated to empowering each and every individual in your care, promoting their independence and protecting their dignity at all times.Our person-centred service is designed to enable our clients to interact confidently and successfully with their families, friends and local community; you will play an essential role in this - also striving to promote any educational activities on offer.We have flexible full and part time hours available in schools in both Hereford and Bromyard, with shifts ranging from early mornings to late nights and anything in-between, allowing you to work hours suited to your availability.
