We are looking for somebody who has a demonstrable interest in developing a career in health and safety. You may be a graduate in Environmental Health or perhaps have worked in a service or customer role in a public-facing organisation and taken on some safety-related duties.

You will be trained by our highly qualified and experienced Head of Health and Safety to carry out the full range of health and safety advisory and support functions - property and staff-related - in a housing association and registered charity. We will pay for you to complete the NBOSH General Certificate and allow you paid study leave.

You must have the ability to follow instructions and procedures, and a really good command of detail. You will have a track record of getting on well with colleagues at all levels. You will be happy to interact with our service users and able to cope with people who may display challenging behaviours. You will also need to show how you have taken personal responsibility for developing your own skills and job progression in the past.

In return we offer a variety of benefits including pension scheme, voucher schemes, initiatives to help you maintain a healthy work/life balance and commitment to learning and professional development.
