Your new role
As the Lead Inventory Analyst you will be part of the Inventory Management Team and will be primarily responsible for supporting key projects in order to achieve customer service and financial objectives. You will be driven to improve the management of inventory in order to achieve better turn rates, reduce obsolescence and drive improvements. You will also be responsible for utilising the forecasting and replenishment system in order to optimise inventory levels. A key aspect of this role involving building and maintaining effective business relationships with internal and external customers in order to then undertake analysis.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to exceed in this position you will need to have excellent inventory experience and be highly analytical. You will be proficient in using all Microsoft packages, in particular Excel. You will need to have the ability to construct, manipulate and interpret complex data which you can then analyse. You will have previous experience in Inventory classification, Inventory forecasting, stock level strategies, EOQ planning and safety stock planning. Ideally you will have experience and working knowledge in using SAP, and be of a graduate calibre.
