Business Development Manager residing in the Midlands for an International Security Systems / Security Equipment integrator with a £55k - £60k basic salary plus an uncapped £100k OTE, car or car allowance, excellent benefits and career opportunities that you would expect from a global sized company.

The Company
Our client is an International Security Systems / Security Equipment integrator and due to further growth within their sector, they now require a new Business Development Manager to sell their Security Systems / Equipment in to businesses based in the Midlands (Birmingham Leicester Nottingham Coventry Derby Stoke Wolverhampton etc).

The Role
The purpose and remit of the Business Development Manager - Security Systems / Security Equipment role:-
• Report directly to the Sales Manager.
• Generate new business to business (B2B) sales, selling our client’s Security Systems / Equipment within the Midlands.
• Prepare and present presentations and create and send compelling proposals and negotiating with your customers to close the sale.
• Participate in any seminars, trade shows and marketing opportunities when and where appropriate.
• Keep up to date with all our client's products / services to be able to advise current and potential customers of our client’s competitive offerings.
• Build up a pipeline of sales opportunities to ensure your targets will be achieved.
• Complete accurate and consistent at sales forecasts and reports.

The Candidate
The Business Development Manager - Security Systems / Security Equipment experience and qualifications: -
• Currently a successful B2B new sales Business Development Manager / Sales Executive ideally selling Security Systems / Security Equipment.
• Proven track record of developing profitable business sales from new business customers within the UK.
• Senior contacts with the ability to "Solution Sell" into specific vertical markets.
• Self-sufficient with the ability to generate new prospects / leads that will meet all agreed sales targets.
• Attention to detail that is accurate and consistent at creating forecasts and reports.
• Good communicator and negotiator.
• Resides in the Midlands (Birmingham Leicester Nottingham Coventry Derby Stoke Wolverhampton etc).
