Service and Calibration Engineer- M5 corridor (Manchester- Bristol) - £27,000-30,000pa

Our Surrey based client is a leader in the design and manufacture of testing equipment used in a variety of applications.

25 days paid holiday and company pension after qualifying period.

Our Surrey based client is a leader in the design and manufacture of testing equipment used in a variety of applications.

They require a Service and Calibration Engineer (ideally with prior experience of UKAS force calibration standards) to provide service and calibration to their customers in the UK & Ireland. Normal service area covering from Manchester to Bristol, and Wales.

Responsibilities:
* Carry out repairs and calibration work in UK and Ireland.
* Assist with implementation & co-ordination of service contracts.

Perform installations of equipment at customer sites.
* Perform training of customers' staff.
Maintain inventory of company provided spare parts.
* Look after equipment provided and report faults in a timely manner
* Ensure compliance with Company Health and Safety procedures.
* Maintain Compliance with company systems and procedures.
You will be expected to travel (sometimes staying overnight) to customers UK & Ireland
* Online support / Troubleshooting.
* Telephone/Email support.
* Proficient with MS Office applications (Word/Excel/Team Viewer etc).
Training, Calibration Equipment, Laptop PC, Smartphone, Company Expenses Card & fully expensed company van provided.

Suitable candidates will have proven experience in a similar position and hold a full driving licence.
