The Role
Develop and providing insight and support for management services so that business requirements are met and supporting the continuous improvement of practices and tools to ensure best practice is followed assuring ongoing improvement.

Responsibilities
*Develop and provide insight and support for portfolio, programme and project management services and committees in relation to change processes, procedures, tools and techniques so that business decisions are effectively supported, business requirements are met and the portfolio is protected against risk.
*Continuously improve practices and tools which support change. Communicate and plan for impending policy changes or interdependencies which may impact service delivery, escalating areas of concern with appropriate remedies where appropriate so that the portfolio is protected against risk and services are effectively supported.
*Develop; provide guidance and consultancy on the framework, standards and practices followed by portfolio, programmes and projects. Deploy support tools so that effective standards and skills are in place to support business change and governance.
*Maintain and report on key performance indicators for defined areas within the change portfolio. Continuously improve portfolio performance metric data and models for defined areas so that management information enables effective communication and decision-making.
*Conduct and report on portfolio and change and agree actions with appropriate stakeholders to ensure adherence to framework, controls, standards and methodology.
*Provide a single source of regular portfolio status reporting within the agreed portfolio reporting timetable. Interpret, analyse and provide insight on defined areas to appropriate stakeholders so that key areas are highlighted and addressed.
*Support the establishment, development and maintenance of standard portfolio risk, assumptions, issues, decisions and dependencies on complex projects/ programmes so that all elements are logged consistently and in line with Group Change standards.
*Deliver short term, one off projects and activities as required by and to the standards and outcomes agreed with Line Manager.

Skills & Experience
Essential
*Experience of working in a Portfolio/ Change Management Office
*Practical experience of Project Management methodology and competent use of project planning tools
*Proven experience of analytical work.
*Good PC-based skills (MS Office) including Visio

In return for your skills my client is looking to pay circa £28,000 based in Stratford-Upon-Avon.
Stratford-Upon-Avon has excellent transport routes and is easily located for commuting from most of the Midlands.
