REED Human Resources is currently recruiting on behalf of progressive and innovative social enterprise to appoint a HR Shared Service Lead on a permanent basis.

The role reports directly into the HR Operations Manager and you will be developing a team to be able to take on all first line HR advice to line managers and colleagues to drive the new shared service model forward.

From the outset, you’ll relish the prospect of moulding and shaping the central service - working at pace with a busy workload, whilst managing conflicting priorities and fluctuating peaks in demand.

The role is a business-critical support role, responsible for leading a team in the delivery of an outstanding customer focused, ‘end to end’ service to the HR team and wider business across all transactional HR related activities, including fleet management and recruitment admin.

• Experience of managing technical and functional professionals within a similar shared service/transactional/operational context
• A strong all-round level of HR knowledge and a good grasp of relevant legislation – ideally supported by CIPD Membership
• In addition, your systems know-how and demonstrable commitment to continuous improvement, will ensure you make an immediate impact and on-going contribution
• A proven leader, with excellent communication and relationship building skills, the ability to manage, motivate and develop your team will be critical when it comes to producing results
