Senior Development Executive
IPS Group are pleased to have been selected as the exclusive recruitment partner to a Northwest Birmingham based commercial insurance brokerage. With their new office they have created three new field based opportunities as the first part of their growth and expansion plans they are seeking a Senior Development Executive to manage their team of Account Executives.
In this principal role as a Senior Development Executive you will be the most experienced member of the team, not only bringing in new business but also playing a major part in recruiting future members.
Along with managerial responsibilities you will also be required to build and service your own book of corporate clients focussing mainly on construction and engineering risks with premiums up to and on occasions over £250,000.
As these are newly created roles my client needs experienced candidates who are comfortable in a new business environment as each role will have the responsibility for identifying leads and converting opportunities in to sales.
You will be sales hungry with a constant focus on delivering results, however, over time the emphasis of your role will evolve. As you take on the client servicing aspects of your book you will manage renewals with the assistance of administrators and internal account handlers.
The ideal candidate will have a proven sales background in commercial insurance and strong leadership experience.
