The Arden Hotel & Leisure Club are looking for a Rooms Division Manager to join our senior team in this busy 216-bedroom hotel at Birmingham NEC.
The role consists of the effective management, productivity and performance of the following areas:-

Front Office (Reception, Nights & Hotel Porters)
Guest Relations
Sales & Revenue

Reporting directly into the General Manager, the role falls as part of the executive management team and will include:-

Overall management of the six managers in the rooms division, and the 75 employees that fall under these areas. This includes recruitment, development, presentation, performance and conduct.
Managing the Guest Experience and the effective performance of this, and growth to meet the targeting score.
Overseeing the management of the housekeeping operation, including cleanliness inside and outside the hotel, health and safety, auditing and departmental costs including payroll.
Overseeing the management of the Front Office operation, working closely with the reception & night managers to ensure the operation runs smoothly and guest experiences are optimised.
Agreeing and working to budgeted targets to meet the optimal sales performance for the team. Lead, drive and develop a sales team to meet their goals.
Ensure effective training throughout the hotel within the key necessary fields, including first aid, fire life safety, food safety, COSHH, pool safety and legionella safety.


A minimum of three years management experience at HOD level in a rooms division department.
Proven sales acumen, and ability to drive a team to meet and exceed expectations
Strong background in managing performance excellence and leading and developing a team.
