The Digital Marketing Manager's role is to develop, manage and optimise the business' digital presence aligned to our business, distribution and recruitment strategy. This includes website, social media and content. Specifically, to raise awareness of the brand, drive traffic to the website, build relevant content by audience to generate interest and data capture and to keep the business top of mind through social media.
This role requires a digital marketing expert who understands how to build and maximise digital presence to drive commercial value. This person will be creative with the ability to develop and create compelling content to sell the business. They will need to build strong relationships across the business as well as managing external agencies. Main Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities of the Digital Marketing Manager include:
Lead the development, management and optimisation of the website including understanding the role of the website to meet the business' strategy and priorities (specifically sales and recruitment), analysing and optimising website performance and user experience for various audiences, generating interest and data capture. Provide reporting on performance.
Lead the development of a PR and social media strategy and plan aligned to the business' strategy and priorities, manage PR and social media presence with relevant and regular activity, develop campaigns, analyse and optimise the performance of PR and social media activity. Provide reporting on performance.
Develop a messaging framework with the executive leadership team and aligned to the brand strategy and positioning to differentiate our business. Build and deliver a content plan that can be deployed across multiple channels. Work with the executive leadership team to develop unique and expert content as well as external sources.
Create and deliver a thought leadership programme to differentiate the business.
Effectively manage agency relationship and external partnerships including budget management
Essential Criteria
• Proven digital marketing track record, particularly the development and ownership of websites
• Strategic marketer who understands the commercial role of digital marketing and has a track record of making a positive impact
• Creative and innovative thinker who can use digital marketing to create a unique and differentiated presence to attract and interest key audiences
• Content planning, creation and campaign management
• PR and social media management
• Excellent relationship management and influencing skills at leadership level
• Analytical skills to track, optimise and report on performance
• Agency and external partners management
• Budget management

Desirable Criteria

• Graduate level education or equivalent
• Marketing qualification
• Experience of working in healthcare (or related) industry
