I am currently recruiting for a competent scheme manager to oversee the operational day to day running of an extra care scheme for adults aged 55 years and over in the Stafford area.

Employed with a leading, not-for-profit housing provider, you will lead an established team to deliver high quality care and support, whilst maintaining a "GOOD" rating with CQC.

Employed on a full time basis, with some requirements to work a varied shift pattern, you will ensure the lives of the people you support are enriched through the delivery of high quality person centred care and support. You will promote a safe, homely environment and encourage resident participation in social events and activities. You will be responsible for a variety of housing management tasks and monitor and coordinate the delivery of high quality, 24 hour person centred care and support.

To be successful in the scheme manager role, you will need to be a people person who enjoys working with older adults and adults with a range of disabilities, have great communication skills and a proactive attitude.

Applications will be considered from applicants who can demonstrate a significant background working with older and/or vulnerable adults in a care or supported housing setting in a supervisory capacity. You will also hold a relevant care management qualification such as the QCF level 5 or equivalent and hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.

An excellent understanding of all CQC policies and procedures, as well as competent understanding of domiciliary care is essential to be considered for the scheme manager role.
