Graduate Engineer - Aerospace and Defence

A leading scientific organisation are looking for recruit a Graduate Engineer to join a development programme which offers suitably qualified and minded individuals an exciting opportunity to develop their skills and build their career.

The graduate programme takes two years to complete. Graduates will rotate around different functions within the engineering, manufacturing and programmes departments in order to gain a full understanding of the business.

After this you will begin to specialise in one of four key areas, namely design, analysis, materials and manufacturing.

The range of engineering related activities is very broad and can include:-

+ Concept and detailed design.

+ Analysis (performance, thermal, structural).

+ Testing (physical, chemical, mechanical, ballistic).

+ Trials (static/dynamic firings, thermal/mechanical environments).

+ Insulant/inhibition formulation and characterisation.

Graduates should have a good first or second degree in engineering (e.g. mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering or manufacturing engineering) or science (e.g. physics, applied mathematics, chemistry or materials). PhD graduates will also be considered.
