1st Line Support Engineer - Urgent - Immediate Start

1st Line Support Engineer sought for an excellent opportunities in the West Midlands. We're looking for an individual with experience of 1st Line Support/IT support who are seeking a bigger, more challenging environment. For the successful individuals there are great opportunities for progression, potentially into a permanent role.

Key Skills and Background:

- Highly focussed on providing service with exemplary communication skills
- Broad understanding of information systems and web technologies
- An analytical, trouble-shooting mindset, with a problem-solving personality
- Take responsibility and ownership of all incidents and requests
- Experience of working in fast paced Service Desk environments
- Must have supported large user bases previously (1000+)
- Worked on large service desk teams in the past

About the role:

- Accurately log, track, update and resolve incidents and requests in a timely manner meeting agreed SLA's and according to agreed standards and procedures endeavouring that normal service operations are restored as quickly as possible
- Ensure that calls to the IT Service Desk are handled within timescales and are escalated to the relevant team if unable to fix
- Deal with incoming calls and emails
- Create knowledge articles and communicate fixes around the team
