Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Home Manager to join their service based in Ledbury and this is a full time, permanent role and offering a salary of up to GBP40,000 and you must be Nurse Qualified.Our client's service is a nursing home which forms part of a Community Care Centre which also has an outpatients department (including chiropody and radiology), intermediate care beds, GP surgery and an acquired brain injury unit.The service is located right in the centre of Ledbury allowing easy access to shops and local amenities as well as the opportunity to "watch the world go by" from one of the numerous lounges. There is a secure and sheltered garden in the centre of the home and plenty of activities on offer within the home. So our client is now looking for an experienced home manager who is nurse qualified to join this service for on a full time basis to assist in the management of the large service. To apply for this role you must be nurse qualified, have experience managing large nursing homes and have experience within dementia and mental health and other complex needs.This is a great nursing home with a stable and loyal staff base and has been well run to date.My client is looking for a nurse qualified home manager to deal with the day to day running of the home and keeping the home compliant.So as a Home Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high quality person centred care for the homes residents.In order to be considered for this exciting role as Home Manager, you will need to have had previous experience of managing a large nursing homen be nurse qualified and have completed registered Managers awards or be willing to work towards it, along with a passion for achieving consistent high levels of care.Job Summary:- As a Home Manager you will manage and have responsibility for all aspects of the service in line with the CQC requirements- As a Home Manager you will need to meet the requirements of the CQC fit person process- As a Home Manager you will ensure the service users are receiving the highest standards of professional support experiencing life opportunities helping to promote growth and independence as identified in PCP plan and approaches.The ideal candidate for this position must have:- Must have experience managing a large care home (Essential)- Must be a qualified / registered Nurse within the UK and have a valid an active NMC PIN (Essential) - At least 5 years experience within management (Essential)- Have an registered managers award or willing to work towards it (Desirable)- Must be willing to provide evidence of running a care home and provide CQC reports- Must have the ability to engage with the service users to understand their needs in order to provide excellent services of care- Good working knowledge of CQC standards and procedures- Proven track recording of managing and improving a service- The ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families and visitors- Promote ownership of care programmes by fully involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing and evaluating care programmes within the home- Must have the eligibility to work within the U.K.- NVQL4 or Registered Managers Award (ideally L&M award and NVQ4)This is an opportunity to join an excellent client and maximise your career.
