Relief Support Worker - Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire
Mencap are looking for Relief Support Workers where you will be in control of the days you work, so working around the children, study or a 2nd job is possible when working on relief!
You will be responsible for the day to day livelihood of 8 individuals with a learning disability in Stoke-On-Trent. You will help with medication, finances and daily living tasks. The people we support have different hobbies and interests and you will be involved in these. You should expect to be involved in listening to Cliff Richard, going shopping for Angel figurines, going to the disco, taking photos of even drinking whiskey. Creating memories is one of the really rewarding parts of being a support worker.

Support workers must be flexible in the hours they can work, as support can be required 24 hours a day. You will work on a rota basis throughout the week, weekends and bank holidays with sleep-ins as well (Payment for sleep ins is competitive and compliant with National Living Wage requirements).
