We are looking to recruit a talented Workshop Controller to join our Ford Stafford dealership. With a team of 10 technicians in total you can see why the role is one of the busiest and most important roles within the Dealership. Your role will role consist of assigning work to Vehicle Technicians to ensure the smooth running of the workshop. You will be liaising daily with the Service Department, and be on hand to answer any queries from other departments and our customers. You will be responsible for ensuring all incoming work is planned as well as managing the time and resource. Workshop Controllers assign technicians to tasks ensuring productivity is maximised and that deadlines are adhered to. As a line manager, you will be responsible for performance management, coaching and development of the team. Quality checking, ordering of parts, audits and compliance as well as health and safety are also important aspects of this role.

We are looking for you to be an experienced Workshop Controller ideally within a franchised motor retail environment or someone who wants a step up in their career. You will have an enviable and proven track record of performance with excellent organisational and communication skills. You will also have the ability to lead, coach and develop your team and know how to get the best out of people, so they perform to their highest level.
