As a Quality Assurance Manager you will be fundamental to our ability to deliver to our customers, our clients, our projects and our programmes. Our customer expectations are high; as such we are looking for adaptive driven people to deliver on time to required quality.

You will possess creative problem-solving skills in a team environment and comfortable with communicating clearly and efficiently throughout varying levels of both the customer and Altran businesses. Due to the nature of the assignments undertaken by Altran you will work in an environment that promotes autonomy and initiative, requiring a flexible attitude. - Be the principal Quality Assurance point of contact for allocated projects and programmes
- Ensures that the Programme Management, Project Management and Engineering processes applied comply with the declared methods, practices and standards
- Analyses process failure or non-compliance and recommends corrective action/improvement
- Mentors and coaches stakeholders, programme and project staff where required, ensuring that the application of methods and practices are pragmatic and meet industry best practice, professional guidelines and common sense
- Identifies risks and opportunities that have the potential to severely impact delivery and either brings these to the notice of the governance body, or ensures that the Project/Programme Manager does so
- Provides regular Quality Assurance status reports to the governing body and stakeholders
- Develops commitment to ongoing quality improvement by ensuring that the quality assurance process is robust and is based on the best industry practice
- Plans and resources periodic quality assurance audits
- Conducts and/or manages audits of quality requirements and analyses audit results, to ensure appropriate quality standards and operational definitions are in place
- Prepares and delivers formal audit reports
- Uses quality standards to review past performance and plan future compliance activities
- Monitors and reports on the outputs from the quality assurance and audit processes
- Investigates and documents the internal control of specified aspects of automated or partly automated processes and assesses compliance with the relevant standard
- Makes technical changes to documented procedures according to relevant quality standards

Qualifications and Experience:

- Degree in engineering or technology
- Experience in engineering or technology environment
- Experience assuring engineering technology driven projects and programmes particularly in automotive or aerospace industries
- Significant knowledge, with a wide range of hands on experience of: project management, programme management and the different delivery methodologies (Scrum, Agile, waterfall, V-Model etc.)
- Background knowledge about automotive standards for software development (MISRA Coding Rules etc.)
- Experience with quality standards (ISO9001 or similar)
- Working knowledge of Prince2, Project Management Professional (PMP), Association of Project Managers (APM), Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) or similar
