Job Purpose:

To progress purchase orders with suppliers to ensure that a robust delivery schedule is maintained for pre-production builds

Key Responsibilities & Tasks:

The key responsibilities and tasks of the role include:

Speak to suppliers to ensure that purchase orders have been received
Progress orders by maintaining regular contact with the relevant suppliers
Review Material planning and logistics for parts listed on main tracker document
Use the parts trackers to log current delivery timing and status comments to enable accurate and up to date reporting for build
Assist with booking in and invoice queries

The post holder will undertake other duties as may be required to achieve the Company's objectives, commensurate with the grading of the post.

Qualifications & Experience:

The successful applicant will possess the following skills and attributes:

Advanced excel skills
Ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy, together with the ability to work accurately and efficiently, taking resourceful action during periods of considerable pressure.
Ability to communicate at all levels.
Methodical approach to problem solving.
Enthusiastic, confident yet tactful person who understands tier 2 supply process and is sensitive to other business requirements from the suppliers.
