This is a great opportunity to join a well-established PPE & Workwear manufacturer as a Business Development Manager within the Midlands.

Client Details

Running for over 20 years, our client is an importer and manufacturer of PPE & Workwear who supply to a range of industries.


As the Business Development Manager, reporting into the National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing an account base of between 400 to 500 clients across the Midlands. You will be responsible for analysing your portfolio of accounts and strategically developing them by representing the whole PPE & Workwear range. Your client base will consist of regional and national distributors covering a variety of sectors. The Business Development Manager will also have some end user engagement through the distributors and the role will include an element of product training to ensure a strong brand presence in the market.

The Business Development Manager role is very autonomous and you will have the flexibility to negotiate on price, margins and tenders. My client is looking for someone with a strong business services sales background who has an analytical and strategic mind set.


Key skills and experience required:

- Experience within the PPE & Workwear industry would be highly beneficial

- Experienced in B2B field sales - key and national account exposure would be advantageous

- Proven track record in account management and the development of accounts

- A strategic and analytical mind set

- A passionate, enthusiastic and proactive approach

- A driven and ambitious attitude

- Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills

- Strong IT skills in Microsoft Programs

- Full, clean UK driving license

Job Offer

- Basic Salary of GBP30,000 to GBP35,000 - dependant on experience

- Company Car

- Bonus
