On behalf of our rapidly growing client based in Stoke-on-Trent we are seeking a highly motivated, commercially minded & experienced Trade Counter Sales Executive.

The successful candidate must have a strong background within the building supplies industry & proven sales experience in a trade environment. You will be responsible for driving sales across the complete product portfolio & delivering the best possible experience to customers.

Essential Skills:
* Proven sales experience in a trade environment
* Outstanding customer service & communication skills
* Ability to achieve & exceed sales targets
* Strong organisational & time management skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* Proactive & self-motivated team player
* Some knowledge of building regulations
* Computer literate with good MS Office skills

Duties will include:
* Promote & sell the complete product portfolio to tradespeople & DIY
customers (timber, fencing & building products)
* Account Management of existing customers
* Generate, manage & coordinate customer leads & quotes
* Provide technical advice to customers
* Administration of sales orders
* Reporting on daily, weekly & monthly sales

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.00 am - 5.00 pm, with flexibility to work occasional Saturday mornings from 8.00 am - 12.30 pm
