Jonothan Bosworth Recruitment Specialists are currently looking for 1st line customer support Engineer.
This is to work for a small yet leading telecoms company, who will offer training and support.
As part of a Customer Support team you will be the first point of contact for customers. You must be able to maintain a pleasant and calm demeanour under all circumstances. This role is based in Shrewsbury, some travel to customer sites may be required on an occasional basis.
1st Line Customer Support job duties:
You will provide technical assistance to customers, to include:
WiFi connections problems, use of android based communal computers, networking issues such as printing problems, VOIP telephony.
Setup hardware for use at customer premises:
ADSL and Fibre Routers, VOIP telephone handsets, install software onto computers prior to deployment.
You will order telephone and mobile telephone services via supplier portals.
Liaise with Business Development Managers to set up new customer accounts and migrate customers existing services.
Source hardware, telephone Handsets, to provide competitive quotes to existing customers.
This customer service support role will suit existing Telecoms Mobile or Fixed-line customer service or IT support looking for a more varied role.
We are looking for someone with some technical experience that can pick up new technologies quickly.
You will be able to work on your own initiative or under direction from senior staff.
Actively seek knowledge to solve new problems and adapt to new situations.
Take ownership of issues and work towards solutions.
Be flexible and able to switch rapidly from one task to another whilst prioritising work load.
