We are looking for an experienced Process Engineer.

Our client manufactures components directly into the automotive industry.

They are a progressive, busy expanding Company, who are actively looking to recruit for a Process Engineer to strengthen their Engineering Division.

As a Process Engineer, you will report directly into the Process Engineering Manager, and you will be tasked with managing the design and definition of the production processes.

They utilise the very latest manufacturing technology in order to produce their components. Their product range is huge and the variance on their products is huge.

DUTIES:

- Manage the design and definition of production processes
- Complete involvement from conception through to final delivery
- Monitor and manage the project budget
- Working in conjunction with the Project Engineers and Manager
- Ensure consistency of the design process with specifications
- Take an active role in technical meetings and project reviews
- Contribute to FMEA
- Lead the action plan aiming at adjusting products / processes and validate the technical choices
- Participation in the selection of suppliers, production resources, monitor the selection process and validate the approval process
- You may have to initiate improvement actions or introduce changes to certain processes during the mass-production stage
- Develop expertise within the assigned area of responsibility
- Responsibility for operating instructions

REQUIREMENTS:

- It would be beneficial, though not essential for you to have a Degree or HNC /HND
- Ideally, you will have Process Engineering experience, gained from within a manufacturing environment
- Preferably, you will have exposure to lean manufacturing techniques
- Exposure to project
- To have monitored budgets
- Good knowledge of engineering procedures and standard Quality systems
- To have the ability to coordinate project meetings
- Strong organisational skills
- Confident decision making abilities
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- IT literate
- Ambitious and looking for a long-term career progression
