We are currently looking for a Development Manager (Construction) to work for a major Automotive organisation based in Warwickshire, West Midlands

Salary: Circa GBP45,000 per annum plus bonus & pension

The Role:
The company is an established, well-funded, privately owned, property developer focused on the UK and Europe market.
You will be part of a small, ambitious team and report directly to the Commercial Director, with the opportunity to grow within the business, become a key part of its future, and share in the success.

Key duties will include the following:
• Managing the progress of owned and potential new developments through the technical, legal, planning and financial stages, and be able to work on a number of projects at a time.
• Appointing, instructing, managing the consultants and steering projects through the planning and legal process
• Gaining technical approvals and satisfying all outstanding planning conditions and obligations.
• Liaising with all members of the team from design team to brand custodian
• Responsible for producing and managing the project development appraisal and delivering projects within the budget and on programme.
• Relationship managing throughout the project lifecycle

Skills and Experience Required:
The ideal candidate for this position should be able to meet the requirements below:
- It is essential to have MRICS or Association of Project Manager
- Project Manager/Development Manager experience in construction with a minimum of 5
- Hotel experience is beneficial
- Computer literate including Microsoft programmes (Word, Excel, Power Point and Project)
- Extensive travel generally UK focused
