Sales Administrator

Circa GBP18,000 - GBP22,000 depending on skill and ability

An opportunity has arisen within a Redditch based manufacturing company who are currently recruiting for a Sales Administrator to join their growing Sales and I.T team.

To be successful in your application as a Sales Administrator, you must be able to demonstrate most, if not all of the following:

  • Confident use of Microsoft Office, predominantly Excel and Word

  • Prior experience in an Administration position

  • Professional telephone manor

  • Confident in liaising face to face with customers and clients

  • Good Organisation skills

  • Ability to work effectively without supervision

The successful Sales Administrator within this business will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following key duties

  • Answering the phone and meeting, greeting &checking in visitors

  • Answering customer queries via email and phone as required

  • Updating schedules / orders using Word and Excel

  • Booking transport for deliveries around the world

  • Raising invoices for customers

  • Regularly checking customer accounts and portals

  • Responsible for billing & invoicing

  • Entry of customer purchase orders

  • Ordering stationary

  • Miscellaneous purchasing

  • Organising and issuing safety footwear for visitors

  • Updating Excel spreadsheets

  • Using the ERP business system

  • Checking and distributing incoming faxes, emails and post as required

  • Raising Purchase orders

  • Miscellaneous duties which may include organising refreshments as required

Hours of work will be 8:30 - 5pm Monday - Thursday and 8:30 - 4pm Friday with a half hour lunch.

The salary for the successful Sales Administrator will be circa GBP18,000 - GBP22,000, depending on skill and ability.
