As a Business Development Executive (BDE) you will have ownership and be accountable for a specific territory in one of four regions across the UK and be responsible for driving new business by selling the value & ROI of this exciting, international company's products and services. You will grow the customer base, exceed your quarterly revenue target and carry out regular compliance visits.
You need to be a sales hunter, hungry for the next sale and thrive in a fast-paced, performance measured culture. Resilience, accountability and the ability to bounce back are essential qualities to sell within this market. You'll be targeted on revenue, sales per week, visits per day and compliance visits per week.
As a Business Development Executive you'll be working on your own, managing your own days & hours, supported by a National Sales Manager with regular regional and department team meetings, usually taking place at some of the most prestigious sporting venues across the UK. You will also be supported with a training academy that will develop you in pitching and negotiating, but the BDEs need to have natural flair and strong commercial acumen built into their nature.
Joining this team of specialists, you will be developed and given a clear personal development plan that will either lead you to become a manager of people as a National Sales Manager or to manage national accounts as a National Account Manager.

To join this passionate and driven Business to Business sales team you must have a full UK driving license (max 6 points), a real understanding of sport and be able to demonstrate your ability to sell face to face, win new business and close a sale in a small time frame/on the spot. You'll have the ability to understand your own performance, be pro-active and use your initiative to create actions that improve levels. It is essential that you have excellent written and communication skills with a working knowledge of Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
You will have at least a few years' experience within business development, field-based sales roles and your CV will reflect a stable working career. You will be a 'closer' who is able to demonstrate previous success at exceeding targets and opening new business. You will be credible and professional with top class communication and inter-personal skills.
