Purchase Ledger / Administrator
Proactive Personnel are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of their client for a Purchase Ledger / Administrator.
Our client offers the opportunity to gain experience in a well established company. This position is full time contract covering maternity leave.
Predominately this role will be covering all aspects of Purchase Ledger however may also involve general administration.
Processing invoices onto the internal system
Matching invoices to statements received
Requesting credit notes
Answering incoming calls and providing a high level of customer service
Dealing with customer returns
Sending items back to suppliers
Handling monthly bank statements and chasing Directors for any outstanding receipts
Entering VAT invoices onto Sage which includes using calculated conversation rates from USD
- Liaising with shipping companies and booking in containers
Providing general office assistance
The ideal candidate will hold strong time management and task prioritization skills, be proficient in Microsoft Word, SAGE and Excel.
Have good Numeracy and communication skills.
You will have the ability to work under pressure and have strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Ideally 1 year experience within a similar role would be advantageous.
