Job Title: Process Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Warwick
Salary: Up to GBP45,000 (NEG)

Key Objectives:
Generate Process definition sheets (PDS) for new products
Select cost effective processes
Define cycle times and labour requirements
Generate layout and facility requirements
Identify and provide costs for required tooling, equipment and facility investment
Support the Project Manager with MAKE or BUY analysis
Conduct Technology trials to support feasibility analysis
Complete the Process definition validation activity (PPCR).
Collaborate during generation of Design FMEA.
Manage the Process FMEA and process Simulations (MTM , T-SIM, ???)
Manage technical specifications , machinery and tooling
Manage Requests for Purchase (RFP's) for direct materials and investments
Generate Materials and process flow-chart / Layout
Plan the Process industrialization in the manufacturing facility
Manage documents to support process according to procedures.
Manage the process industrialization at the production plant(s)
Support the plant (Launch manager) in pre-serial production
Lead Process Acceptance Gateway reviews (IPAs)

Key Result Areas:
Production tooling, equipment and process delivers parts to target cost and quality
Project Timing targets achieved

Working Conditions / Other features of Job:
39 hours per week standard
Monday to Thursday (A)
08.30 to 17.30 - 30, minutes for lunch
Starting time may be from 08.15 to 08.45
Finish time must correspond to start time between 17.15 to 17.45
Friday (B) 08.30 to 13.30
Starting time may be from 08.15 to 08.45.
Finish time must correspond to start time between 13.15 to 13.45
Note: Total number of hours: 39 per week. The hours must be completed on a daily basis (8.5 hours Mon - Thurs, 5 hours Friday)
It is expected that you will work such hours as are necessary to fulfil the requirements of your role

Qualifications / Educational requirements:
HND or Degree Qualified (or equivalent) in an Engineering discipline

Job Skills & Experience:
Technical understanding of Manufacturing and Assembly Processes
Strong Supplier management skills
Automotive industry experience
Interior trim Automotive industry experience
Good Technical understanding of Manufacturing and Assembly Processes
Experienced in process selection, feasibility and definition for new products
Experienced in generating detailed specifications for tooling and equipment
Strong Supplier management skills
