  • My client is looking for a Interim Project Manager/Project Engineer - Aerospace to join their workforce in the Bedfordshire area.
  • The company specialises in production of components for the Aerospace industry.

The correct candidate will have the following skills;

  • Good Project / Programme management experience
  • Experience in the Aerospace industry
  • Able to accept responsibility day to day without the need for supervision
  • Proactive and a self-starter

Interim Project Manager/Project Engineer - Aerospace

Main Duties


  • Taking ownership of the customer based projects, responsible for ensuring that the overall budget is tracked throughout.
  • Responsible for setting up communication channels to ensure future projects are handled correctly and in the same manner.
  • Provide a link between Commercial, Engineering, Operations and Quality.
  • Provide central co-ordination across the whole business through all stages of NPI.
  • Generates the overall project plan based on information supplied from a variety of business areas
  • Ensure management will have visibility of all programmes
  • Main interface with Customer base on all project related issues.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to negotiate both with the customer and within business.
  • First point of contact within the business for all customer programme management related issues.
  • Commercial ownership of projects to agreed budgets, from tender preparation through to completion.
  • Support other departments to ensure project requirements are delivered.
  • Managing a portfolio of customer based projects, effectively delegating throughout the organisation and ensuring delivery.
