Assistant Finance Manager
A logistics company based in Burton-Upon-Trent are currently recruiting for a Assistant Finance Manager, this position is available on a temporary to permanent basis and ideally suits someone from a logistics background who has had exposure to team management.
Managing a team of 3, this role will require applicants to have good attention to detail and strong excel skills including V-lookups and pivots as the successful applicants will be responsible for analysis and scrutiny of the Profit and Loss report. Knowledge and experience of assisting with month end is essential, more particularly around Accruals,Journals and reconciliations.
To ensure accuracy of billings
To support with month end reporting and reconciliations
To ensure all information is processed accurately and in a timely manner
To ensure full and accurate monthly spend validation
To support the Management Team by providing financial input into Reports and Reviews
To support Operational Team Leaders with continuous reduction in Invoice Rejections
To coach Operational Team in all finance matters
This role is a temporary to permanent basis and in return the company are offering a salary of GBP20,000 to GBP25,000 depending on experience, 25 days holiday, free parking and pension scheme. This position is a 37.5 hour working week.
