Deputy Project Manager Piping
My Client is an International company with offices based in Coventry. The have excellent staff retention and an industry leading training structure.
We are seeking to recruit a Deputy Project Manager to join this company working in the sales function.
Candidates must have experience in a Project Management role previous, ideally within the Utility and building services industry and preferably with a knowledge of plastics.
Reporting directly into the Project Manager you will benefit from working on a variety of different projects across a range of industries and products. This company has a diverse client portfolio and is not reliant on anyone industry performing well, so that are extremely stable.
You will be provided with training on products and the company practices and shadow the Project Manger until you are comfortable enough to handle your own clients.
Working as part of a team you will liaise with various internal and external stake holders, including administration, technical, stock control, sales and external customers. Excellent communication skills are essential for this busy role.
Other essential skills include:
- Ability to work with demanding customers and remain calm under pressure
- Excellent time management skills as working on multiple projects at the same time
- Strong attention to detail
- Numerical aptitude
- Excel skills
- Car owner with no more then 6 points on licence (license must be presented to agency before your details will be submitted to the client) This is because of company location and also due to insurance purposes, as some visits to clients using a company pool car will be required
- Technical background
