An award winning global Pensions Company is currently recruiting for a Senior Pensions Administrator position. If you have experience in administering Defined Benefits Pensions schemes and you're looking to work for a well known company that can offer you long term career progression then this is an ideal role for you!

Within this role you will be responsible for member administration; ensuring an accurate, reliable and high standard of administration services for designated Defined Benefit schemes. You will also be responsible for ensuring that members receive the highest level of service and take pride in ensuring that your clients are well managed. Along side this you will also be required to manage the work load and oversee the work of junior team members (to ensure that targets are consistently met) as well as training new starters and taking a lead role in a variety of projects.

The successful candidate for this role will need to be an experienced, competent Pensions Administrator, who possesses a wealth of experience of working within the Pension industry on Defined Benefits schemes. It is essential that you have experience of coaching and training junior staff, and have the manual calculations experience to be able to check work accurately and to tight deadlines, as well as good knowledge of Pensions legislation and administration procedures.

Job Purpose:

The main purpose of this role is to:

* Provide an Administration Service to support the Pension Team
* Sort all incoming post and deliver to the correct teams
* Log incoming calls, post and email on the system
* Input temporary data in to the ESR System
* Answer calls on general Pension queries


* Prepare, sort and distribute the mail to the correct team * Adherence to the Post Inwards, Post Sorting and Post Distribution processes
* Take and deliver messages
* Completion of standard forms and letters regarding routine earnings requests
* Set up and maintain files and folders
* Label items for scanning/archiving and storage
* Provide admin support to the Pension Officers
* Ensure all incoming work is logged on the system in a timely manner
* Answer all phone calls within a SLA targets
* Support Pension Officers when required
* Deal with Ad-hoc Pension duties
* Update Pensions online system
* Prepare, sort and distribute the mail to the correct team
* Adherence to the Post Inwards, Post Sorting and Post distribution processes
* Undertake other administrative duties as directed by the Senior Pensions Officer.

Mandatory Skills:

* Basic level of Excel
* Basic level of Word
* Microsoft Outlook
* Experience of using Database applications.
* Enthusiastic and willing to learn new skills
* Flexible approach to task activities
* Good organisational and prioritisation skills
* Able to take direction but also able to work under own initiative
* Senior admin experience

Desirable Skills:

* Previous pension admin experience
