Job Title - Electrical Technician
Our client is a highly successful and forward thinking Waste Management organisation who are looking to hire an experienced Electrical Technician to join them as they continue to make a big contribution to improving the UK's resource efficiency. This is a full time and permanent day shift role for an Electrical Technician based in Oxfordshire. You will receive a basic salary of up to GBP37,500 with an excellent benefits package and unrivalled career prospects.
You, being the successful Electrical Technician will have a clear understanding of various repair methods of electrical equipment, knowledge of Preventative Maintenance Systems and knowledge of the creations of detailed scopes of work / Engineering Specifications ready to be sent out to tender.
You will have experience of health, safety and environmental legislation relevant to either the process or power industries. You will be computer literate, have superb communication skills and excellent organisation skills.
You will ideally have experience working within either the Process, Power or Manufacturing industries and be confident in your ability with a flexible and adaptable attitude to work. You will strive with your colleagues in the team to provide the maximum availability and efficiency of our clients equipment in a manufacturing environment. All Electrical Technicians in the team have a flexible approach to working patterns.
Working as part of the Engineering team, you will ensure maintenance plans and targets are achieved safely, economically and within the environmental limits of the plant. You will also carry out risk assessments and method statements to ensure activities are completed in a safe manner at all times.
You will participate in continual personal development activities within the organisation to achieve improved performance, promoting flexible team working by creating an environment and the resources which will enable the team to identify issues and create innovative solutions to problems and opportunities.
