For this Maths Teaching Assistant role, you will be a mature and ambitious maths graduate who has worked with children in either a volunteer or paid role and achieved well in your degree, having earned at least a second-class degree.
As a Maths, Graduate Teaching Assistant you will be providing additional support to individual pupils or small groups to enable them to overcome barriers to learning and make or exceed expected levels of progress. With guidance from teachers within your department, you will plan for and lead small extraction/ intervention groups, demonstrating the impact of these interventions. This may also involve marking assessments.
