Where you'll work

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Change Specialist to join the Business Systems Team based at either our Cannock or London Office.

What you'll do

You will work with other Change Specialists within the team to provide new and innovative solutions to Veolia's public sector operations. You will produce high quality ideas which you will be able to follow through to solution delivery that effect real business change.

The Change Specialist will play a key role in ensuring projects (change initiatives) meet objectives on time and on budget by increasing local adoption and usage. This person will focus on the people side of change - including changes to business processes, systems and technology.

The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimise resistance.

The Change Specialist will work to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilisation and greater proficiency of the changes that impact employees in the organization to increase benefit realisation, value creation, ROI and the achievement of results and outcomes.

Further duties you will encounter are;

Assessing the change impact, complete change management assessments and create change management strategy

Create actionable deliverables for the five change management levers: Communications plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, resistance management plan.

Communicate regularly with stakeholders in relation to; understanding and validation of change requests, the planning and testing of change requests, the planning of various resource pool usage

Applying a structured methodology and lead change management activities

Support and engage senior leaders, coach managers, supervisors and administrators

What you'll need to know

We're looking for someone with a Degree level education in a business / analytical discipline (or relevant experience). You should have an understanding of how people go through a change and the change process. We want you to have Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools. You should have exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal along with excellent active listening skills.

Your ability to establish and maintain strong relationships will help you to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal. We're looking for an organised person with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics.

Also essential is an ability for problem solving and root cause identification.

We need you to be able to work effectively at all levels in an organization and apply acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges.

Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle are another requirement, as is experience with large-scale organisational change efforts.

If you have a change management certification or similar that would be very welcome.
