Health and Safety Trainer/Consultant

Package GBP35k-GBP40k plus car

Due to continued expansion KeyOSTAS are looking to recruit an experienced Health and Safety Trainer/Consultant. Successful Applicants will have construction bias experience, providing training up to and including CITB SMSTS level. IOSH member would be an advantage. Environmental, fire, or auditing qualifications would be a distinct advantage.

This Health and Safety Trainer/Consultant role will mainly involve providing training to a variety of clients at their premises throughout the UK, or at one of our two training centres in Bromsgrove or Southam, Warwickshire. Candidates must be prepared to travel and have nights away from home as part of the role. This is a full-time employed position.

Health and Safety Trainer/Consultant - Core Duties

- Deliver various Health and Safety courses at our midlands venues and client premises
- Undertake consultancy and give advice
- Update course material
- Ensure current skills set

Requirements

- Good written and verbal skills
- Time-Oriented
- Willing to undertake extensive UK travel
- Friendly people person that can build relationships easily
- Thorough understanding of Training techniques
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
- Aptitude in delivering and creating presentations

Required Qualifications

- CITB Accredited (to deliver SMSTS/SSSTS)
- NEBOSH Accredited or equivalent

Training

- Required to actively participate in the Company's Staff Appraisal process.
- To actively contribute to the identification of own training and development needs.
- To undertake training and development activities as may be identified.

Quality

- Active participation in the Company's Quality Development Programme.
- To contribute to the continuous improvement of the Company by identification of opportunities for improvement and by continually seeking to improve individual and team performance.
