I-TRENT/PAYROLL PROJECT MANAGER - MIDLANDS - 8 MONTH CONTRACT - IMMEDIATE START - GBP450-GBP550 per day

My client based in the midlands are urgently seeking for a HR Project manager for an upcoming Itrent implementation for there payroll

OVERALL PURPOSE OF ROLE:

This role will report into the Head of HR Support Services and work alongside our supplier, MHR -and their application iTrent, delivered as software as a service (SaaS), to support the successful design and deployment of the new HR information system and Payroll application.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

*Successful implementation of the chosen HR & Payroll system in line with 3rd party consultant recommendations, statutory compliance and business objectives.

*To lead on and develop a project of delivery and implementation alongside our partners MHR.

*To lead on business decision making contributing to process design and workflow configuration.

*Assist in requirements gathering activities by leading workshops meetings and document analysis.

*Documents findings and prepares recommendations for the implementation of new procedures, systems or organisational changes.

*Liaising as required with other departments and stakeholders to ensure accuracy and timely take-on of data from legacy systems.

*To support the cultural implementation of the system by working with key stakeholders to identify interventions to support from current to future need.

*To oversee assurance and governance of the project to meet deadlines and internal requirements.

GRADE SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES

*Lead effective and engaging meetings based on the team meeting template, reporting back on key issues and questions raised

MANDATORY FOR ALL STAFF

* To work seamlessly across department or team boundaries in a collaborative and constructive manner to implement the strategic direction
*To demonstrate a commitment to customer service excellence and deliver against the requirements of the quality framework.
* To work within the companys policies and procedures.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

* The desired candidate should have proven experience in HR & Payroll system self serve implementation.
* Organised and methodical approach to work with project management experience and desirable qualification.
* Proven experience in on working on business change initiatives
* Ability to communicate effectively and professionally at all levels in a collaborative and constructive manner.
* Ability to work effectively on a solo basis and within a team environment
* Focused on outcomes with an understanding that successful implementations involve rolling your sleeves up and doing things yourself - not just tracking the work of others.

QUALIFICATIONS

Desirable

Project Management (e.g Prince 2)

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
Essential
*Experience on the end to end process of full business application implementation using the Prince 2 methodology
*Experience in UK Payroll or Personnel services environment
*Can demonstrate the necessary flexibility and pragmatism required to deliver projects in an environment of constant change

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Essential

* To demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills and able to build strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
* Experience of how to build and run a plan including tracking progress, issues and risks

Desirable

*Use of Microsoft Project
