Brand Product Planner

As Brand Product Planner you will have the opportunity to work for the world's largest trade distributor of plumbing and heating products based in Leamington Spa.
Your new role
As Brand Product Planner you will provide support to the Own Brand Product Manager in delivering the new own brand range of products and support new product development from planning and market analysis to its launch in branch and on line. You will be responsible for the delivery of a product plan that will improve customer availability, choice and quality across our own brand ranges. As Brand Product Planner you will also work closely with buying and sourcing teams in managing the launch plans for new own brand product and supporting existing own brand ranges. Other key activities as Brand Product Planner include: collation and analysis of data, marketing insights, decision criteria and routine reporting on the performance of products; undertaking market research and bench marking own brand performance against competitors' sales, product quality, pricing, marketing initiatives, and product innovation.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful as Brand Product Planner you will have previous experience of product planning, merchandising or marketing however most importantly you will need good project co-ordination skills and the ability to influence key internal and external parties. As Product and Brand manager you will also need to be able to analyse data and create reports in Excel. Experience of branding or customer facing marketing campaigns would also be beneficial, alongside a degree within a relevant subject field.
What you'll get in return
As Brand Product Planner you will receive a rate of £250-£300 per day dependant on experience.
