A leading and pioneering Substance Misuse charity are looking for permanent a permanent Nurse Non Medical Prescriber (NMP) to join their team in Burton.

£34,000 - £43,000 depending on experience
Full time 9-5 (or 8-4)

The Company


The organisation work innovatively with individuals affected by substance misuse to deliver detox, rehabilitation and recovery services. They are now seeking to recruit a dynamic and passionate nurse to contribute to the ongoing success of the service in this 1st class setting.

Responsibilities

Reporting into the Service Manager

* Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate treatment / interventions and care for clients presenting to the service
* Proactively review and manage treatment plans of the service user
* Take the lead as part of the Clinical Governance group.
* Act as mentor to trainee nurses as agreed with any relevant training provider

For this role you will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service check


What you'll need to succeed


As a Non-Medical Prescribing Nurse, you will provide safe, effective and evidence based care and interventions to service users in the Burton Service. You will work closely with the clinical team, local healthcare professionals and key stakeholders, to provide holistic care packages for service users throughout their recovery.

* Current RGN or RMN registration with valid NMC pin,
* The legal right to work in the UK,
* Have (V300) HEA790
* Previous experience of working within the substance misuse field is desirable.
