Adult Support Worker required for South Warwickshire, full time hours, days only, £8.97 per hour

Hays are working with a housing association within South Warwickshire who are looking for experienced Support Workers to work on a full time basis to work 40 hours a week on a shift basis between 8am to 8pm.
Your new role
In your new role as an Adult Support Worker you will be working within homeless hostels for those over the age of 25. Many of the service users are previous offenders and have various mental health issues along with suffering from alcohol and substance misuse. You will be responsible for assisting them with benefits, housing and trying to encourage them to find suitable work placements.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role as an adult support worker, you will need to have previous experience of working with those with mental health issues, substance misuse and rough sleepers. You will ideally hold a level 2 or 3 qualification within social care and be able to work full time including occasional weekends. You must hold a valid driving licence and have access to a car as travel between Leamington, Warwick and Stratford is expected.
What you'll get in return
In return you will get to work for an established company on an ongoing placement for 40 hours a week where you will be treated as a permanent member of the team. There is opportunity to be taken on to a permanent contract at the end of the 12 week assignment. You will receive a competitive rate of pay and will work days only.
