Our client is delighted to be a key partner in an innovative Worcestershire consortium who has been successful in securing £2 million of Lottery and European Social Investment Funding – Building Better Opportunities.

To take forward their success they are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and experienced person to be the programmes Job Coach Support Officer. You will work with us and the wider Building Better Opportunities team to provide support to Building Better Opportunities Job Coaches and participants.

Our client is part of the largest social landlord in Wyre Forest. They work with local people, community leaders and partners to improve the lives of individuals, families and communities in need and living in Wyre Forest and Worcestershire.

They are looking for an experienced employment services professional who has knowledge and experience of working on ESF contracts (and specifically administration compliance requirements) and will proactively work with Job Coaches and key partners to ensure a range of appropriate employment support services are made available to BBO participants.

The Job Coach Support Officer will develop and maintain a specialist knowledge of local and national employment support provision and share this knowledge with other Job Coaches. You will establish and develop relationships with other Job Coaches and JCP, the Worcestershire LEP, Local Authorities and other key stakeholders, working collaboratively to achieve wider strategic goals.

Success will be measured by the number of participants you contribute to support to secure and sustain paid employment and contract administration compliance.

The successful candidate will have a positive attitude and be an effective communicator with employers, participants, partners and within all levels of our business.

This is a 24 month fixed term contract and will be funded by the Big Lottery and European Social Fund.
