To be considered for this Teaching Assistant role you must be a success-driven STEM graduate who has already held a school-based position and an impressive academic record and a 2:1 or better in your degree. You must have the right enthusiasm and positivity to ensure all your students enjoy their lessons and work-hard. You will be able to encourage students to reach their academic goals and evidence a commitment to the role and the school. You should be able to quickly develop lasting relationships with your colleagues and the children you work with.
This STEM Teaching Assistant position involves working within the schools science and maths departments, mentoring GCSE students. You will support teachers across the school and improve the learning and development of pupils of mixed ability. You shall be expected to drive the academic development of EAL students and you will have structured support from a dedicated Senior Teacher.
